Every year as we come into football season, fans of all teams love to display their team's colors and show support for their favorite team.
Pittsburgh over the years was a melting pot of ethnic groups working hard in the steel mills, factories, and business in the tri-state area. Irish, Italians, Slovaks, Germans,and all the other nationalities who helped build this city, also love to show the pride of their heritage. We all know that Pittsburgh fans are fanatical in so many ways, always prepared to wear the black and gold. This loyal group of Pittsburghers, no matter what city or country they live in always display their Steeler pride. Thus the formation of the Steeler Nation.
We began with the Irish Steeler Fan, and found that everyone walking past us in the Strip District wanted to see their own nationality represented in the Steeler Nation. Our goal is to provide all of the loyal Steeler fans the opportunity to display their ethnic pride! Presently we have 15 nationalities available, with many more to come.
